Picton, ON - Paul Gentile, broker with Sutton Group - Prince Edward County Realty Ltd.*, miraculously finds the time to have two full-time and a few part-time jobs. He works as a real estate professional, paramedic, treasurer, director and bookkeeper! He has been actively involved in the Picton community, where he grew up and lived all his life, for many years.

As the treasurer of the prestigious Rotary Club in Picton, Paul sorts out the finances of the organization which contributes around $60,000 annually to various businesses through fundraising. "We (Rotary Club) sponsor families in need and support exchange students going to foreign countries or coming to Canada", shares Paul. The Annual Picton Rotary Wine Festival and Auction, an event that brings together chefs from the whole city and the Wilf Harrison Memorial Golf Classic are just two of the fundraising initiatives organized by the Rotary Club. This year, the festival and auction brought in around $25,000 which was donated to charitable initiatives within the community. "Members of the Rotary Club are fairly successful business people and as such we strive to help less fortunate individuals and give back to our community", reveals Paul.

At Sutton Group - Prince Edward County Realty Ltd.*, teamwork and helping-out is encouraged. Paul volunteered to assist with the bookkeeping when broker of record, Linda Middleton, decided to hire a bookkeeper. Paul's generosity and versatile character shines through with each shift he works as a paramedic, another full-time job. Before he joined the real estate industry sixteen year ago, Paul trained for a paramedic career and to this day continues to be true to this path.

Paul, a passionate golfer, is also the past president and member of the board of directors at the Picton Golf & Country Club. Recently, he managed to secure substantial funding from local financial institutions for the expansion of the golf course 18-holes. Paul comments, "Having lived in the community all my life has helped me solidify an extensive network. It has been beneficial to all my endeavours in the business community".

Real estate became a passion for Paul when he started working alongside his father in his own realty office. Later, Paul took over the business completely and developed his managerial and bookkeeping skills. "I learnt to adapt quickly and manage my time properly", Paul adds. He shares his philosophy, "Give back to the community and try to leave it a better place than you found it".

Paul Gentile believes he is one of many individuals who have such a dynamic lifestyle. He also teaches us that each "activity we participate in should be a learning experience" and we should dedicate time to personal growth. This way, we will learn to know ourselves better and live more fulfilling lives.
