Marie Homebuilders Association and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business. He was the President of the Sault Ste. Marie Real Estate Board, where he won an outstanding contributions award and two Presidents awards. In addition, he was the past President of the Kiwanis Club and won the award for Kiwani of the year in 2000. The office supports hockey and soccer teams, the local theatre, and a variety of youth organizations.
