Chilliwack, BC - REALTORS® and business partners Tim Wight and Kelly Johnston are the new owners of Sutton Group - ShowPlace Realty Ltd. in Chilliwack, BC. Tim and Kelly have been with Sutton for a number of years and felt this ownership was a perfect fit. They have many plans for the office including opening satellite offices and making a difference in their community.

Tim has been with Sutton for 5 years and Kelly for 8 years. Tim and Kelly felt they had a strong connection and knew they were meant to do business together. They saw the value in their business partnership and in the first three years experienced great success. In late 2006, they were approached by the owners of the office for the second time to take over the business. After serious consideration, they felt it was a fantastic opportunity to utilize their knowledge and experience in real estate to build Sutton Group - ShowPlace Realty Ltd. "We felt that the timing was right and that Chilliwack was prime for an office to do something a little different and to elevate what an office is about", expressed Tim.

Tim and Kelly have several goals and standards they would like to reach and maintain. They want to make an impact on their REALTORS® in the office and build a well-respected business with high levels of service and prestige recognized throughout the industry. Their goal is to attract 60 REALTORS® for the office through a successful recruiting program that generates meetings with 3-5 potential REALTORS® a week. In addition, potential satellite offices are on the horizon in both Sardis and Abbotsford.

To show their dedication to the community, Tim and Kelly have formed an in house Sutton Spirit Committee that organizes a variety of community events throughout the year. These events include women's luncheons, men's breakfasts, and family bowling nights. In March, they will hold their first annual client appreciation event where they will be renting a whole theatre and presenting clients, their families and friends, with a movie and snacks. "Our Sutton Spirit Committee will play an integral role in the planning of future fundraising events and other activities to raise money for local charities; we understand the importance of getting involved in our community and helping people in need", said Tim.
