London, ON - REALTORS® Mike Brady and Lynn Waram Brady of Sutton Group - Preferred Realty Inc.* have been busy recently with several community projects. They are both Lions Clubs International members, a volunteer organization that that gives back to the community. Over the past year, they have contributed greatly to the Dutton & District Lions Caledonia TWO project, for the building of a senior's retirement complex. They have also organized an upcoming appreciation day for their clients on April 26.

Both Mike and Lynn have been with the Lions Clubs in London for several years. This organization has many chapters around the world, supporting and organizing a variety of community projects. In 2007, they both pledged $100 for each home they sold to the Dutton & District Lions Caledonia TWO project, for the construction of a senior's retirement complex in Ontario. Mike and Lynn also fundraised through activities that included a golf tournament and an auction. Last year, they donated $3,000 and hope to raise $7,000 this year to meet the goal of $250,000. "Everything the Lions does goes back to the community", said Mike.

Along with supporting the Lions Clubs, Mike and Lynn are having a client movie day to show their appreciation on Saturday, April 26. They will be renting a theatre room and providing a complimentary movie with treats at their expense. They are asking clients to donate canned goods so it can also be a day where clients can contribute to a food drive. "This is a win-win-win situation; our clients win, the charities win and we win for giving back", expressed Mike. They are hoping to raise $500 worth of canned goods to go towards the Daffodils Society, an organization that contributes to needy families, and Street Connections, an organization that gives meals to kids on the street.

Mike and Lynn encourage everyone in the Sutton family to do their part in the community. They want to challenge Sutton REALTORS® to give back to their clients and those where they live. "We feel a sense of fulfillment when we are giving back because the community has given us so much."
