Vancouver, BC - REALTOR® Shafique Rashid of Sutton Group - Killarney Realty is giving back to youth in his community. He provided Easter baskets to donate to his daughter's school for their annual egg toss and colouring contest on March 14. Shafique presented the baskets to the winners of the contest; he enjoyed making the students happy.

While Shafique donated the resources towards the baskets, his wife, Nashifa, contributed her time by wrapping a total of 22 baskets which contained stuffed animals, candies, arts and crafts, and books. The annual egg toss and colouring contest was held on Friday, March 14, at Seaforth Elementary in Burnaby, BC. Students from kindergarten to grade 4 participated in the colouring contest and those in grade 5-7 participated in the egg toss. Each winner received an Easter basket. In addition, Shafique's daughter presented a basket to participating firefighters who were at the school, to give to children affected by fires. "This is a great outdoor event that the whole school participates in and enjoys; the baskets were a great incentive to get kids involved", expressed Shafique.

Shafique not only donates to his daughter's school, he is an active member of the real estate community. He belongs to the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV), Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), Mortgage Brokers Association of British Columbia (MBABC), Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals (CAAMP), and the British Columbia Apartment Owners and Managers Association (BCAOMA). Members of Shafique's office, Sutton Group - Killarney Realty, also belong to a number organizations, including the S.U.C.C.E.S.S Chinese Cultural Society, Ismali World Partnership Walk, Children's Hospital Circle of Care and World Vision.
