Surrey, BC - Sutton - Premier Realty held a successful awards luncheon on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in Surrey, BC. Numerous REALTORS® received awards for sales achievements and for their contributions to the community. Brokers Larry Anderson and Arthur Armstrong were happy the event went well and were proud of their REALTORS® successes.

REALTOR® Janis Stretch and the office's social committee organized the awards celebration that took place at the Morgan Creek Golf & Country Club on a beautiful sunny day in Surrey, BC. The event had a great turn out of REALTORS® and they were all happy to be surrounded by their colleagues. The main purpose of the celebration was to recognize REALTORS® sales milestones and their community efforts. REALTOR® Graham Higgins won the service to the community award and Bhim Sen Nair received a legacy award named after him for his work towards the office and beyond; REALTOR® Tej Danjou won the first legacy award. During the luncheon, 50/50 draw tickets were sold and 50% of the proceeds went towards the Surrey Food Bank. REALTOR® Clara Yu won the draw and decided to not keep the money for herself and donate it to the Food Bank. "I felt the awards ceremony was a tremendous success; it is events like this that allow Sutton REALTORS® to shine both as individuals and as part of a winning team!", expressed Arthur.

Sutton - Premier Realty's REALTORS® received many awards not only for their sales ability but for their dedication to the community. Graham Higgins works closely with the Surrey Food Bank, Rae Phillips participates in dragon boat racing for breast cancer, John Samus donates blood to the Surrey Blood Bank, and Francis Ali coaches a soccer and ball hockey team. In addition, Janis Stretch helps with the Surrey dry grad, Friday night youth nights and school fun nights. The office will hopefully be organizing a softball tournament and an "Amazing Race" event in the next coming months. "Our REALTORS® are the reason for our success as a company and as participants in our community," said Larry.

The office knows the importance of giving back. Janis Stretch believes "that if we were all to give back to the community we could do wonders."
