Winnipeg, MB - Successful REALTOR® Sheldon Zamick of Sutton Group - Kilkenny Real Estate focuses his efforts on a variety of community endeavours. For a number of years, he has been a member of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), assuming many roles throughout his time there. He has also been involved with various important causes and organizations in his community.

For the past 16 years, Sheldon has been a dedicated member and volunteer with CNIB. He has been the Chair of the "Eye on the Arts" benefit auction, where over 600 people attend annually, and where various art pieces are auctioned to raise money for the organization. Sheldon has also been a committee member for the Manitoba Hydro Visions Luncheon, a member of the Provincial Board of Directors and was Chair of the Fund Development sub-committee of the Board. "Whatever role Sheldon performs, he does with enthusiasm, eagerness, and above all a keen passion for his work with the CNIB. Over the years, Sheldon has helped raise over $1 million dollars for the CNIB to support people living with vision loss in Manitoba.

Sheldon lends a helping hand to other parts of his community as well. He has volunteered with a number of boards and committees, including CJA (Combined Jewish Appeal), MDA, Variety Club, United Way, Lions Club, Hebrew University, Children's Miracle Network and MS Society. For his dedication, Sheldon was recognized at the CNIB 2003 Volunteer Achievement Awards, and received the Community Service Award from the Winnipeg Real Estate Board.
