Red Deer, AB - In March 2008 Neall Stevens, broker/owner of Sutton Group - Landmark Realty in Red Deer, volunteered with an organization in Cape Town, South Africa, called Joy For Life.

Joy For Life was established by one individual about 15 years ago to provide services to people dealing with HIV or AIDS. As government funding was not available they struggled to obtain funding.

Cold Lake, AB - Sutton Group - Cold Lake, opened on January 26, 2008. The office is in a popular area of the downtown core and Louise Johnson is the Broker. They are looking forward to sharing their expertise and knowledge to the public.

Louise, who has been a REALTOR® since 1990, had an opportunity to work with a local developer, so she decided to open a brand new Sutton office in the Cold Lake area. The office is downtown on a main street, close to many businesses such as hotels and retail stores. The office environment is very professional, comfortable and warm. "I wanted an office atmosphere of friendliness, honesty and integrity", expressed Louise. She plans to offer an alternative way of purchasing and selling homes to the public and be different from other offices in Cold Lake. She will also be increasing the number of REALTORS® in the office.

During the party there will be a silent auction with all proceeds going towards the Ihuman Youth Society and the Women's Dream Centre. Sutton Office Races to Win for United Way

Brandon, MB - Sutton - Harrison Realty took part in the 1st Annual Tim Horton's Road Tour Challenge on October 20. The challenge involved people in the community driving around Brandon to solve clues that would bring them to different locations. The office hosted a lunch stop for the racers and also participated in the race. The event was to raise awareness for United Way and the organizations they support in Brandon.

The office's participation in this event was encouraged by REALTOR® Louise McInnes. She is an active volunteer for United Way. Both Louise and Office Assistant Rana Wilkinson, headed the office's involvement in the challenge. "We're excited to be part of the first year of this event and we hope to make it bigger and better each time. We are proud to be involved with United Way because they are excellent people to be involved with", expressed Rana.

They participated in the 2nd Annual RBC Royal Roundup pre Calgary Stampede Kickoff on July 5, 2007, at the Symons Valley Ranch in Calgary, Alberta. This successful event allowed the office to network with individuals in the real estate industry and promote themselves. Along with this event, the office gives back to the community in several meaningful ways every year.

Sutton Office Tees off for Children in Need

Saskatoon, SK - On June 12, 2007, Sutton Group - Norland Realty held the annual Warran Pidskalny Memorial Charity Golf Tournament at the Holiday Park Golf Course in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Broker Reg Kotlar organized the tournament that is named after REALTOR® Warran Pidskalny, who passed away three years ago,. The money raised during the event went towards the Sick Childrens' Hospital Association in Saskatoon.

Since 1993, Sutton Group - Norland Realty has been organizing the golf tournament. When REALTOR® Warran Pidskalny passed on, the office decided to hold the event in his honor. "Warren's passing was the inspiration to turn this into a charitable event since he believed in charitable causes", expressed Reg. In the first two years, the money raised went to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and this year they decided to donate to the Sick Childrens' Hospital Association because Saskatoon is in need of a hospital for sick children.
