Southern Ontario in the Spotlight

ON – Would you like to expand your network and professional skills as you improve your community? Many charities in southern Ontario are in urgent need of volunteers for opportunities that allow for safe social distancing and the use of PPE. In as little as two hours, you can make a real difference by protecting wildlife and natural habitats, offering your wisdom and emotional support to youth, and feeding the hungry among other opportunities.

The Willow Park Ecology Centre is looking for a board Director. Since 1998, the Centre has helped to restore and maintain the beautiful and biodiverse confluence of the Credit River and Silver Creek. The Willow Park Ecology Centre operates in partnership with the Town of Halton Hills, Credit Valley Conservation, local businesses, grant-making organizations and volunteers.

The Multicultural Council of Windsor Essex County is looking for volunteers to welcome newcomers to our country. Communication can take place safely via weekly video calls. Volunteers help new Canadians practice their English, learn about the community and make new friends.
