Sutton Spirit Draw Winner
CANADA – Congratulations to the newest Sutton Spirit random draw winner, Sharon Busse, Broker at Sutton Group – Muskoka Realty Inc.*. In February, Sharon, REALTORS®, staff and supporters braved the elements in The Coldest Night of the Year walk. Through a social media campaign and personal donations, they raised awareness and $1,185 for the Table Soup Kitchen. This local, non-profit, non-denominational, Christian organization operates a soup kitchen, food bank and men’s shelter.
The Coldest Night of the Year (2020) raised a total of $6,480,147 through events in 144 communities across Canada. All the locally raised funds are used locally. Sharon and her team chose a 5-kilometre route through the town of Huntsville, where the Table Soup Kitchen delivers vital services; in 2018, the non-profit provided 4,459 free meals.
This event was a great team-builder and Sharon is looking forward to more community projects.
