15th Annual Real Estate Softball Tournament
Surrey, B.C. – Sutton - Premier Realty along with TD Canada Trust and the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board hosted the 15th annual Real Estate Softball Tournament last week at Softball City in South Surrey.
Sixteen offices participated—the largest turnout in the tournament’s history. This event has become a favourite way for industry professionals across the Lower Mainland to network, socialize, and enjoy the friendly but sometimes fierce competition.
“Everyone wins by participating in a tournament that fosters goodwill and strengthens business relationships in the real estate industry,” says Larry Anderson, Broker at Sutton - Premier Realty. “It was great to see so many old friends and make new ones.”
Congratulations to Homelife Advantage Realty, who took home the trophy in the A Division, and RE/MAX Treeland, winner of the B Division.
This year, the teams included players from Sutton Premier Realty, TD Canada Trust, Homelife Advantage Realty, Royal LePage Wolstencroft (with 2 teams), Keller Williams Elite Realty, Keller Williams Ocean Realty, Sutton Group - Westcoast Realty (Langley/Abbotsford), Homelife Benchmark Realty, RE/MAX Treeland, Royal LePage Little Oak, Stonehaus Realty, RE/MAX Colonial Realty, Century 21 Coastal Realty, RE/MAX Sabre Realty and MacDonald Realty.
The tournament kicked off at 8:30 a.m. and ran until 7 p.m. giving participants time to get to know each other on the field and on the bleachers. Organizers arranged for plenty of refreshments and a barbeque to fuel the players, who delivered exceptional games and a lot of laughs on the diamond.
Always involved in their industry and community, Sutton - Premier Realty’s next project is Bring on the Balls, a campaign that aims to deliver as many sports balls as possible to teenagers in need through the Surrey Christmas Bureau. Too often, teenagers are forgotten in the Christmas gift-giving. Larry and his team are hoping that people share the gift of fun and fitness in time for the holidays.
