Kingston, ON – This just in: The beloved Charity Golf Tournament for the Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre will swing into action again this summer raising money to rehabilitate wild animals. The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. on June 21, 2024, at the Garrison Golf and Country Club in Kingston. This event is organized by Your Grant Team: Rhonda Grant, Brandon Grant, and Jamie O’Leary.
“Last year’s tournament was a huge success raising $6,838.45 to provide shelter, food, and medical care for injured and orphaned wild animals,” says Rhonda.
“Your Grant Team has organized this annual event for several years raising a grand total of $51,545.45.”
In addition to experiencing one of the most beautiful golf clubs in Ontario, tournament participants can enjoy a delicious meal and the opportunity to win trophies, a 50/50 draw, a putting contest, and other prizes. In 2023, Your Grant Team sponsored a $10,000 Hole-in-One prize, and Sue Meech, the founder of the wildlife centre, delivered an inspiring presentation.

Rhonda and her family are long-time supporters of the Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre and happily volunteer many hours to organize this fundraiser. The centre does not receive any government funding (although it is regulated by the government), so it relies entirely on donations and events such as this tournament.
